Why don't my GA4 numbers match those of my ecommerce platform?

It is one of the most common problems in ecommerce analytics and has multiple causes: users with ad blockers or browsers that block tracking scripts, session losses in the checkout process (especially in external payment flows or 3DS), errors in the implementation of the purchase tag, duplicate transactions, or differences in the registration timezone. The GA4 Tools suite automates the detection of each of these causes and gives you the actual percentage of your tracking coverage.

What is BigQuery and why is it relevant to my ecommerce?

BigQuery is Google's data warehouse where GA4 exports the raw event data, without the sampling limits and restrictions of the standard interface. For ecommerce it is fundamental because it allows you to do analytics that native GA4 doesn't support: cross-reference data from multiple sources, do 14+ month historical queries, cohort analysis at the individual user level, and build predictive models on your entire customer base. The suite simplifies access to BigQuery so you don't need a data engineering team to take advantage of it.

Is the data chat secure and does my data go out to third parties?

The data chat operates on your own instance of BigQuery and GA4. Queries are processed with the language model to interpret the request and generate the corresponding SQL, but the data is never stored or used to train external models. All access to your data follows the IAM permissions you already have configured in Google Cloud, so security and control remain in your infrastructure.

What ecommerce platforms is the suite compatible with?

The suite has native integrations with VTEX, Shopify, Magento/Adobe Commerce, and WooCommerce for the transaction matcheo module. For other platforms, integration is done via API or data export. The GA4/BigQuery chat module and advanced analytics functionalities are independent of the ecommerce platform and work with any properly configured GA4 implementation.
