We share with you the success story of Style Store where we worked on developing their online store, built on VTEX IO technology, and in just 4 months and in the middle of the pandemic, the brand went from 100,000 to 1 million dollars a month.
Store development on VTEX IO for Style Store
Style Store is the first Trend Concept store in Argentina that sells accessible luxury brands, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, technology, watches and jewelry. It has converted its e-commerce platform with VTEX, the unified commerce company that provides services to brands and retailers in more than 42 countries around the world and has more than 2,500 online stores.
Its website, which has been operating since 2016 (originally under the name StyleWatch), has official representation of major international brands. From the category such as Swatch, Tommy Hilfiger, Tissot, Calvin Klein, Swarovski and its new addition Daniel Wellington. Although it was mainly dedicated to the retail of jewelry and watches, since June 2020, it has carried out a successful process of evolution towards a Trend Concept Store with the incorporation of new categories and premium brands.
In this last stage, and with the pandemic context, Style Store consolidated itself as an explosion in the e-commerce segment. Although Style Store has been working with VTEX for 6 years, since then the brand has made a 180-degree digital reconversion. The trend accelerated with the pandemic and the increase in the use of e-commerce. With its 17 stores closed, the brand had to convert all operations to digital. Thus, the company adapted quickly and went from a turnover of USD 100,000 per month to USD 1 million per month, in just 4 months. In addition, thanks to the growth achieved during 2020, Style Store will replicate its online model in physical stores.
Client’s need
Style Store contacted Known Online with the main need to develop their online store, built on VTEX IO technology. The objective was to to rebrand StyleWatch to Style Store with a complete rebranding, with a store that works fast and converts well incorporating new technology tools such as Vtex IoT. The deadline was to be done in 45 days.
