Case Study: BSale ERP Integration with VTEX

When we say that we develop your solution we want to tell you, in a few words, that based on your needs, we evaluate how technology can help you solve your problems. These developments can be creating a website with focus on usability, speed and user experience, developing a store E-commerce for our customers to sell, charge and send products and services worldwide or developing apps for Android, iOS and WebApps that are dynamic and fast and help to improve the visibility of the products of a business and optimize its resources.

Integrations and customized developments can also be implemented as a solution. This means that different systems can be integrated so that they can communicate with each other and thus automate processes and optimize customer resources according to their needs. This was the case of Bsale, a very popular ERP in Chile.

Bsale integration with VTEX

E-commerce has grown a lot in recent years and Chile has not been left behind in this revolution, and the country has positioned itself as a leader in Latin America in online shopping. In terms of business scalability and to help automate processes, optimize resources and increase sales generation capacity, Known Online, a VTEX partner agency, developed the integration with the VTEX platform. That is, we integrated the two systems so that they can communicate with each other and automate processes. The goal was to ensure that customers who had their E-commerce store, as well as customers who had their physical stores, could take advantage of the benefits of both platforms and could organize their business by having a single platform. synchronization of sales, invoicing, stock, prices, product catalogs and customers. Information travels from one platform to the other in real time.

From the following tasks were performed:

  1. Stock synchronization: the objective is to avoid stock out of stock. Companies upload their stock within Bsale and automatically the same stock is updated within VTEX to know in real time how many units they have of each of their products and in each store (offline and online). This means that when the company makes a sale offline, the stock is automatically updated within VTEX and vice versa so that there is no stock out, that is, a sale is made of a product for which there is no inventory and thus avoid customer complaints. It is also useful for those companies that have physical and online stores so that they can improve the way they manage their stock and provide the possibility of having the stock of the physical store within the E-commerce to be sold and vice versa within the physical store as a pick up point.
  2. Price synchronization: When there is a price update it is automatically updated both in the E-commerce store and in Bsale.
  3. Order synchronization: When orders are entered in VTEX, they are automatically invoiced from Bsale and the invoice is sent to the VTEX customer, thus automating the entire invoicing and stock update process. In addition to providing more transparency in invoicing, it makes everything in one place and saves time and money since it avoids the need for personnel, streamlining all Ecommerce processes.
  4. Synchronization of catalogs: Allows to know the catalogs with updates in both platforms in real time from any place.

Results

The integration of Bsale ERP with the VTEX Ecommerce platform was completed in one month of work and is now up and running. The proposal provided and implemented by Known Online, completely solved the client’s need since, by having automated processes and optimizing resources, it strengthened Bsale’s relationship with its own clients.
