We share the success story of Apro, a leading company in the commercialization of personal protection elements and industrial safety items with 40 years of permanence in the Chilean market.
Client’s need
Apro needed to develop its online store, built on VTEX IO technology, and integrate it with SAP Business One, a business management software solution (ERP) that is a global benchmark, accessible and easy to use.
What solution did Known Online propose?
Based on the current needs that Apro had, the service was proposed in the following areas of Web Development and Digital Marketing:
1) Development of VTEX IO Apro store for your B2C and B2B channels.
2) SAP Integration.
1) VTEX IO Apro store development for B2C and B2B
Known Online’s proposal contemplated the development of Apro’s e-commerce, being able to define the design in question based on examples/functionalities pre-defined by its marketing team.
The necessary information was made available to configure payment methods and associated logistics. Then, the necessary e-mails were configured to automatically follow up the orders to the users.
The site was adapted to mobile devices and had an optimal loading time according to user experience favorable to the conversion rate. The entire process integrated metrics to evaluate traffic and ROI by source, medium and campaign.
In addition, the Known Online team trained Apro on the use of the platform and offered maintenance related to design updates, new integrations and/or updates to existing ones, pricing -promotions- and all those modifications in terms of programming/layout.
2) SAP Integration
Considering the implementation of ERP Sap Business One, the Known Online team worked on the following processes:
- Automatically bring stock and price data to VTEX.
- Send data of completed transactions to the system.
- Issuance of bills and invoices.
- Payment statements for B2B users.
Automation allows Apro’s team to operate its two stores without stock-outs and with minimal human intervention.
Results
Apro is already operating with its two sites, taking 10 weeks to develop each of them. All site management processes are automated in a way that allows the team to focus on continuous improvement with evolutionary support from Known Online.
